A tragic road incident in Silver Spring resulted in the death of a local woman late Sunday evening. WUSA9 reports that at approximately 10:40 p.m., first responders arrived at the 10400 block of Colesville Road to find a black 2022 Kia Telluride that had struck a utility pole. The driver, Osbelia Minh, a 34-year-old from Silver Spring, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Montgomery County's official press release, Minh was the sole occupant of the vehicle found off the roadway. The report outlines that, for unknown reasons, Minh's vehicle veered off to the right side of Colesville Road and collided with a wooden utility pole. Further details confirmed that she was not wearing a seatbelt during the collision.
