Floydada also joined the winners' circle, besting Sunray with a decisive 10-1 outcome to claim their series, also per information obtained by FOX34. Hermleigh displayed superiority over Ira, closing the series out at 15-0. With a less overwhelming, but still significant, victory, Lubbock Cooper bested WF Memorial 14-4, marking another series sweep.
Meanwhile, in the El Paso area, Eastlake stepped up with a commanding 12-1 win over Midland Legacy, taking the lead in their best-of-three series, detailed by KVIA. Americas excelled in their bracket, cruising past El Paso 11-1 to advance to the area round, clinching the series 2-0. The postseason fever continued as Del Valle secured their place in the area brackets after a pair of wins over Burges, 6-3 and 15-1, according to KTSM. In Class 4A Division 1, Riverside outmatched Mountain View in a singular 15-0 victory to also advance. In a closer contest, Ysleta emerged victorious over San Elizario with a 12-7 score. Classes 4A Division 2 had YWA narrowly edging out Fabens 12-11 to move up in the postseason, and Clint delivered a strong 15-0 win against Bowie to cap off a series of compelling playoff results.
