Yesterday, officers from the South San Francisco Police Department were dispatched to a reported disturbance on the 300 block of Arroyo Drive. The situation escalated quickly as the individual, described as an armed white male around 60 years old, fired multiple shots at the officers and into an occupied residence.
This intense exchange of gunfire resulted in the eventual death of the suspect at the scene. None of the responding officers sustained injuries during the shootout, as per the South San Francisco Police Department.
