The victim, now identified as Jesse Woods of the 3800 block of Louisiana, was found with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
Police responded to reports of the shooting just before 8:15 p.m. Woods was quickly taken to the hospital by EMS, but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
