
A woman was shot yesterday afternoon in Dutchtown, and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is on the lookout for the suspect involved in the incident. According to a report by the SLMPD, the 25-year-old victim was responding to a meeting arranged to sell marijuana at around 3:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Oregon when she was approached and shot by a male thought to be between 17 and 18 years old.
The shooting, which resulted in the woman being wounded in the chest, forced her to drive to the 2700 block of Osage where she contacted police. The SLMPD statement says responding EMS quickly transported the victim to the hospital, where she was listed in critical but stable condition.
