The approval marks a significant step forward in a series of actions that aim to bring the Tampa Bay Rays' home back to its former glory. After today's resolution, the construction phase can begin, with the replacement of the roof expected to be completed by December. However, this is just one piece in the puzzle, as the interior of the stadium still awaits its turn for a facelift, including turf installation and various repairs that the City plans to tackle once the roof is settled. The completion of all stadium repairs is currently scheduled for April 2026, pending no further disruptions.
