Morristown's third annual Bluegrass Festival will take place at the Farmers Market and Downtown Green on Saturday, from noon to 7:00 p.m. The event will feature headline act Carson Peters and Iron Mountain, along with other bluegrass performers, as reported by the City of Morristown.
The City of Morristown's Bluegrass Festival features a diverse lineup of artists, including Carson Peters and Iron Mountain, known for their Grand Ole Opry appearances and international tours, and Blue Ridge Gathering from Knoxville, who blend bluegrass with Celtic melodies. Local talent Ryder Casey from Roan Mountain will also perform, mixing country and folk styles. In addition to the music, the festival offers arts, crafts, food vendors, and family-friendly activities such as teacup rides, inflatables, face painting, and an Axe Throwing Booth for adults.
According to the City of Morristown on their Facebook page, the Morristown Bluegrass Festival will take place on Saturday. The Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for artisan and food vendors.
