Currently, the commission comprises 11 volunteer members who come from diverse backgrounds in Tacoma and Pierce County, bringing forth a wealth of experiences and expertise. Those selected to join this effort will need to complete specific training provided by the Washington State Office of the Attorney General. This includes the Open Public Meetings Act and Public Records Act trainings, which must be finished within the first 90 days of their appointment.
