The incident happened near the intersection of Maple & Maryville Avenues yesterday. With handguns pointed at him, the teen reported that around 4:50 p.m., three masked men exited the vehicle. Before fleeing the scene in their car, the assailants struck the teen and snatched his crossbody bag, relayed by the police website. While walking, imagining the safe passage through his neighborhood, such was not the teen's fate.
The aftermath saw the teen taken to the hospital with injuries sustained from being hit with the firearm.
