
A 15-year-old teenager was shot in the foot in Kingsway West. The incident occurred yesterday, in the 5100 block of Terry and has spurred an ongoing investigation by the authorities, as reported yesterday by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
As detailed in a press release that came out just after midnight, police received a call about a shooting shortly after 5 p.m. Responding to the scene, they found the young male with a gunshot wound to his foot. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department's statement, the teen was in a vehicle with another male before responding to the rear of a residence. When they exited the car, shots were heard, resulting in the teenager's injury.
The St. Louis emergency medical services quickly transported the victim to the hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.
