A woman was robbed at gunpoint in Lasalle Park, and two juveniles have since been apprehended in connection with the incident, according to police reports. On Saturday night, officers from District 3 were called to the 1700 block of South Tucker just after 9 p.m. following a robbery report. The victim, a 48-year-old woman, had parked her car when she was confronted by four males, with one wielding a rifle.
The armed suspect demanded the woman's car keys, which she handed over. However, he failed to start the vehicle and the group subsequently fled on foot. In a statement obtained by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers quickly located two males whose appearances were consistent with the suspects’ descriptions. They managed to carefully take both individuals into custody after a short chase, with one of the juveniles found in possession of the victim’s keys.
