
The Phoenix Police Department is currently piecing together the circumstances of two separate stabbings that unfolded yesterday afternoon within close proximity and a mere 20 minutes apart. The first incident took place around 4:40 p.m. near the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road, as reported by FOX 10. Authorities found a man there with non-life-threatening stab wounds. He was promptly transported to a hospital. The suspect, an adult female, was apprehended nearby and taken into custody.
Phoenix officers were called to respond to a second violent confrontation near 59th Avenue and Indian School Road shortly after arriving at the first scene. The second stabbing, which occurred around 5 p.m., resulted in additional tragic outcomes. "As officers were responding it was learned that one man had stabbed another. When officers arrived, they located the victim who was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The victim did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased," Phoenix Police said in a statement reported by FOX 10. The male suspect implicated in this fatal incident was found and arrested in a neighborhood north of the crime scene. Details regarding the identities of those involved in either incident have not been released to the public.
