Last Thursday, the Vallejo Police Department responded to a reported robbery at a business located on the 3000 block of Sonoma Boulevard, and immediate actions led to a swift and peaceful resolution. According to the social media post from the Vallejo Police Department, a woman was accused of arming herself with a kitchen knife inside the store, threatening employees, and exiting the store with approximately $300 worth of unpaid merchandise, which included not just the knife but kitchen scales, and packaged food items.
According to the Vallejo Police Department's account, the woman was seen trying to conceal the stolen items in a nearby field. However, officers quickly located and detained the suspect, who initially tried to provide a false name. This did not deter the officers from confirming her identity through further investigation. In the aftermath, all stolen goods were recovered and returned to the store.
Once her identity was confirmed, the suspect was taken to the Solano County Jail, facing multiple charges that included robbery and weapon brandishment.
