A quiet disruption at the Wabasha County Fairgrounds yesterday has concluded with a safe resolution. According to recent updates from the Wabasha Police Department, an adult female cow, identified by her distinctive dark rust color and white face, temporarily wandered from her designated space during a local livestock show. This event led to authorities seeking assistance from the public to locate the stray bovine.
The Wabasha Police Department turned to social media to alert residents, sharing a notice for any sightings of the lost cow. In a statement that demonstrates the power of community and responsiveness, they urged anybody who saw the wandering animal to "call the Wabasha Police Department (651-565-3361) so that we can help get her back home."
In an update on the Wabasha Police Department's Facebook page, authorities stated that the "cow has been located and returned."
