After a decade of serving at MarketStreet Lynnfield, Wahlburgers permanently closed on Sunday. A Facebook post from the restaurant informed patrons of the closure, stating, “After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that our Lynnfield restaurant will close its doors permanently at 9 PM on Sunday, April 27th.” The announcement noted that the decision to close was a difficult one: “This decision was not made lightly, and we understand it may be disappointing to many of our loyal guests,” the post added.
Wahlburgers, a chain known for its celebrity backing by the Wahlberg family, extended an invitation to their remaining local establishments. "We invite you to visit our other Boston-area locations," the statement emphasized. Customers who have previously purchased gift cards at the Lynnfield location were reassured that these could still be redeemed at other Wahlburgers locations and on their website. Despite the closure, the brand commits to continue to anticipate fully serving their customers in the Boston area.
According to MassLive, the social media announcement did not specify the reasons behind the closure of the Lynnfield outpost. Nevertheless, the closure reflects a broader narrative of business adjustments and relocations that can occur with national chains, as market dynamics and consumer preferences evolve over time.
In the meantime, Wahlburgers assures customers that their desire to deliver family-inspired dishes and a welcoming dining experience remains unchanged. "We can't thank you enough for your support. We look forward to seeing you at our other locations and sharing many more memorable experiences soon," the restaurant expressed gratitude towards their customer base. It is evident that while one chapter has ended for the Lynnfield Wahlburgers, the company eagerly engages to extend its culinary journey with its community at their various other sites.
