The City of Brentwood Police Department revealed in a recent social media post that Barajas was convicted of attempted second-degree robbery and is sentenced to spend two years behind bars.
On July 14, 2023, gunfire shattered the calm on Marjoram Drive in what unfolded as an attempted robbery gone wrong. Per the incident details provided, a trio of armed individuals, a 17-year-old male from Antioch, Barajas, and another 21-year-old male from Antioch, engaged in a rapid exchange of bullets. The confrontation resulted in two people being struck, one of whom was a teenager whose injuries proved fatal after being transported to the hospital. After the smoke cleared, three firearms were recovered from the scene.
