The probability of rain is noted to be 20 percent.
Wednesday's weather will bring a higher chance with a 30 percent probability of precipitation after 2 p.m. Those in Atlanta should anticipate partly sunny conditions with temperatures peaking near a warm 83 degrees. The evening is similarly expected to have a 30 percent chance of showers before 8pm, followed by a drop to a low around 65 under partly cloudy night skies.
Moving closer to the weekend, Thursday will also be partly sunny with a high near 85, but with a 20 percent possibility of showers popping up in the afternoon. Nightfall will increase the chances significantly with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy conditions will take the temperature down around 65 degrees. "Friday will present a busy weather pattern," as there is likely to be "a chance of showers before 8am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 8am and 2 p.m., then showers likely after 2pm," noted the National Weather Service forecast, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation and an expected high near 83.
However, the weekend is shaping up to be clear and sunny. Saturday's outlook predicts sunny skies with a high near 78, while the nighttime temperature is projected to be a comfortable 55 degrees. Extending into Sunday, residents should again see sunny weather with temperatures similar to Saturday, around 79 degrees, offering a perfect opportunity for outdoor activities.
