As reported on the National Weather Service website, the area will experience showers likely with a possible thunderstorm before 10 a.m. today, followed by more rain this evening.
Patchy fog before 8 a.m. could also affect visibility for the early commuters. Despite the wet start, temperatures are expected to peak at a comfortable 75°F. Southeast winds at 5 to 9 mph will accompany these conditions with a chance of precipitation seated at 60%. Less than a tenth of an inch of new precipitation is predicted, but the numbers could escalate in case of thunderstorms.
Moving into tonight, the area will see scattered showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m., then more scattered showers after 5 a.m. The temperatures tonight should hover around 60°F with calming east winds turning south shortly after midnight. The chance of rain continues, albeit reduced to 40%.

The NWS has detailed Monday night predictions to be mostly cloudy, with lows settling around 36°F.
The week progresses with a return to clearer skies. Wednesday aims for a sunny high near 55°F, dipping to a mostly clear night with a low around 37°F. Thursday's forecast extends the trend with mostly sunny conditions and a high near 63°F. However, by Friday, chances of showers pick back up, signaling a 60% chance with highs hovering around 65°F.
