Woodstock, Georgia, will celebrate "Georgia Cities Week" from April 21 to April 27, with an additional event on April 28. The theme for this year’s celebration is focused on imagining possibilities. The week includes various events, starting with a Touch-A-Truck event on April 21 on East Main Street, where children can explore vehicles from the local fire and police departments. The Woodstock Lions Club will host a breakfast on April 23 to honor city employees.

On April 26, the Woodstock City-Wide Yard Sale and Greenstock Day Recycling Event at Woodstock City Church will take place. The Woodstock Farm Fresh Market will also open for its 2025 season that Saturday.

Woodstock officials have rescheduled April’s City Council Work Session and will host a Towne Hall Open House on April 28 before the Regular Meeting of Mayor and Council. Additionally, the Woodstock Municipal Court’s Amnesty Program will run through the end of April, allowing individuals with fines or violations to settle without late fees or additional charges.

The Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) is leading the statewide initiative, which aims to highlight the importance of city services.
