This development follows a tragic incident on May 18 at 699 Spring St. NW, where a male victim was shot in the head after what seemed to be a verbal altercation gone wrong. The Atlanta Police Department has confirmed that Mr. Belser's arrest is linked to this homicide case.
Initially, investigators quickly sought to publicly identify a person of interest in connection with the shooting. They held a press conference on May 21 and released a video and 911 audio from the incident, urging community members to come forward with information.

In a regrettable turn, the male victim, who had been fighting for his life in the hospital, eventually succumbed to his injuries on May 20 and was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
