The Atlanta Police Department is reigniting attention on a chilling case that shook an Atlanta community to its core. In a recent press conference, officials revisited the double homicide that occurred at 222 Tuskegee St. SE, where two individuals, Ms. Centeria Fields and Mr. Stanley Pratt, were found lifeless, victims of gunshot wounds.
Digging into the harrowing details, the incident unfolded with a suspect shrouded in all black opening fire on Mr. Pratt as he partook in a cigarette outside the apartment, according to the Atlanta Police Department. Chased back into his own apartment after being struck, both Pratt and Fields were shot again, the perpetrator subsequently vanishing like a specter into the night. Atlanta Police Department reported the murders were unfortunately witnessed by two minors present in the home at the time.
