Atlanta is poised for a high-energy homecoming as rapper YFN Lucci, also known as Rayshawn Bennett, cues up for his first concert after being released from prison. The State Farm Arena will host the event on August 23, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta. Expectations are high, with fans eager to welcome back the artist known for his distinctive take on trap music.
According to WSB-TV, presale tickets for the much-anticipated show went live yesterday, with the general ticket sales following suit today. Lucci's comeback aligns with the release of his newest music video for "Jan. 31st (my truth)," a track presumably reflecting his experiences and contemplations during his incarceration, which coincidentally or not, is also the date of his release. He served a year of his decade-long sentence after pleading guilty to gang-related charges.
Lucci rose to fame through hits like "Key to the Streets" and "Everyday We Lit," and his release has been met with support from the local community and fans nationwide. Lucci's path post-prison includes strict parole conditions. He is required to live with his mother, undergo routine drug testing, distance himself from former gang associates, and steer clear of gang activities until January 2031.
