A drug investigation culminated at 7:48 a.m. with several search warrants being carried out at 117 Thompson Street in Hyde Park. As detailed in a statement from the Boston Police Department, the authorities seized an assortment of drugs, which included fentanyl, crack cocaine, and various pills.

The search also led to the discovery of three digital scales, and a sum of $3,327. Two individuals are faced with serious charges in the wake of the raid. Maurice Fagan, 51, of Chelsea and Alexandr Lavrishin, 46, from Hyde Park, are the suspects arrested on trafficking and possession with the intent to distribute various classes of drugs. They are slated to face the justice system in the West Roxbury District Court.

According to the Boston Police, Fagan is charged with “Trafficking of Class A, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class C.” Lavrishin faces similar counts. Drug Control Units from both District E-5, which covers Roslindale and West Roxbury, and E-18, representing Hyde Park, took part in the operation along with assistance from federal colleagues and local task forces committed to checking the narcotic scourge in the community.
