
The Boston Police Department has issued a community alert and is seeking assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred yesterday morning in Roxbury. The incident, taking place at approximately 7:02 a.m. at the Quincy Variety Store located at 236 Quincy Street, saw the suspect make off with an undisclosed sum of money from the store's cash register. The police have described the alleged robber as donning a gray New England Patriots hoodie, black pants, black gloves, and a face mask.
According to the official BPD community alert, after the robbery, the individual was observed crossing Quincy Street and walking on Magnolia Street towards Kineo Street. The Boston Police Department urges community members who might have any relevant information to step forward and contact the District B-2 detectives. It is a part of their ongoing effort to collect facts and make meaning out of the circumstances surrounding this recent robbery in their jurisdiction.
