
Authorities are searching for a suspect linked to multiple vandalism incidents in downtown Boston. According to the Boston Police Department, the individual is believed to have tampered with traffic control boxes, leading to traffic light outages. The incidents occurred on Thursday last week and yesterday at intersections including Washington Street and Kneeland Street, and Boylston Street and Hadassah Way.
Surveillance images released by District A-1 detectives show the suspect carrying a long pole. He is described as a light-skinned male with a grey beard, wearing a black hat, black jacket, yellow hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and brown construction boots. He was also noted to walk with a limp or uneven gait.
