The Boston Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in finding 71-year-old Justina Ayala of South Boston, who went missing earlier today.
According to an alert released by the Boston Police, Ayala was last seen yesterday, around 5:12 p.m. at her residence located at 76 West 7th Street. Standing at about 5’2” and weighing around 100 pounds, she was possibly dressed in a handkerchief, a 7-Eleven hat, a grey quarter-zip sweatshirt, black leggings, and pink sneakers with white soles at a time of her disappearance.
Ayala, who suffers from dementia, is known to visit several spots frequently, such as the rotary at Preble Circle, a gas station on Old Colony Avenue, the convenience store on D Street, and the nearby Stop & Shop. The Boston Police has underscored the urgency of locating Ayala due to her medical condition.
