The Brookline Police Department is turning to the community in its search for a shoplifting suspect. On the evening of May 2, an individual was reported to have stolen from a supermarket on Beacon Street.
Detectives are seeking assistance in identifying the person believed to be involved in the incident. According to the Brookline MA Police Department's social media post, the alleged shoplifter is described as a white male, seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and carrying a black backpack.
The suspect was last spotted fleeing the scene toward Beaconsfield Road around 5:45 p.m. The Brookline PD has taken to Facebook to circulate a call for public support, urging anyone who may recognize the individual or have any relevant information to step forward and contact the Brookline Police Detectives at 617.730.2710.
