A three-year-old boy is in critical condition after being found unconscious in a pool at a Chandler residence Monday evening, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix. The Chandler Police Department received the emergency call and hurried to the home near Gilbert and Riggs roads, where they discovered the boy and initiated CPR immediately.
Chandler Fire Department officials, who took over the resuscitation efforts upon their arrival, confirmed that the child was later transported to Chandler Regional Hospital. According to AZFamily, the gravity of the boy's condition necessitated a subsequent airlift to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. While the paramedics arrived, they found the officers performing CPR on the boy.
