According to the Chicago Police Department's official news release, the aforementioned arrest took place on Monday, in the 2600 block of S. California. Brown is accused of being the aggressor who fatally shot the victim on December 13, 2021, in the 6400 block of S. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. in Chicago's 3rd District. Following the arrest, he was taken into custody without incident and soon charged accordingly.

The Chicago Police noted, "No additional information is available at this time." Today, the wheels of justice continued to slowly turn as Brown faced a detention hearing at 2600 S. California.
