Clark County residents are invited to an open house at Fire Station 35 hosted by Commissioner Justin Jones and the Clark County Fire Department. The event will take place on Friday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 10350 W. Flamingo Road, west of S. Hualapai Way. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the work of local firefighters, according to the Clark County.

Commissioner Jones said, "This is a great opportunity for residents to meet their local firefighters and learn more about the vital services they provide to our community." The event will cover District F, including much of the Southwest Valley. Attendees can take a full tour of the fire station, try out firefighting equipment, and have the chance to use a firehose, as reported by the Clark County.

Clark County is hosting an open house at the fire station with activities for all ages, including free food and refreshments, ice cream, face painting, balloon art, and music. The event will end with a firefighter demonstration of life-saving techniques, including extrication with the "jaws of life." Clark County Fire Chief Billy Samuels said, “We're happy to partner with Commissioner Jones to open up the fire station and welcome members of the community we serve.” For more information, contact Commissioner Jones' office or visit the Clark County website.
