Outdoor enthusiasts looking forward to enjoying the Dakota Rail Regional Trail will have to wait a bit longer as repair work has encountered delays. An update from Carver County Parks communicated that the closure, affecting the trail between County Road 10 and Mayer, is now extended through mid-June.
The department expressed gratitude for the public's patience, stating, "We appreciate your continued patience as crews work to complete necessary improvements to ensure a safe and smooth trail experience," as stated by the Carver County Parks.
The statement was a reminder for the community to avoid the section currently undergoing repair. Those who frequently traverse the Dakota Rail Regional Trail should be to keep informed about the progress of the improvements and the re-opening schedule.
