The announcement is set for Thursday, May 8, at 10:00 a.m. in the Dallas City Hall Flag Room, an accessible venue for press and public attendees. Mayor Johnson will take the lead, supported by Dr. Mark Ramirez of Dallas ISD and Tandra Allen from the Junior League of Dallas, all of whom are deeply invested in the education and well-being of Dallas's students.
According to the Dallas City advisory released earlier, the fair will provide essential school supplies and offer various services such as health screenings, dental checks, and immunizations, at no cost to the families.
