Gusts could reach up to 20 mph, providing some relief from the heat. Friday evening, however, sees a return to the earlier pattern with more showers and a chance of thunderstorms before 2am, followed by likely showers afterward. With a steady south wind near 10 mph, gusts might go as high as 20 mph, while the chance of precipitations remains high at 90%.
The wet weather is anticipated to linger into Saturday morning with a 60% likelihood of showers primarily before 8am. The day is then set to gradually improve, leading to partly sunny skies with a breezy high near 70 degrees and west winds ranging from 13 to 18 mph, capable of gusting up to 32 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of new precipitation is expected, possibly providing residents some respite from the heavier rains.
Those in Detroit can look forward to a drying trend starting Saturday night where conditions will pivot to being partly cloudy with a low around 52. The mild weather will continue into Sunday and Monday with partly sunny to mostly sunny skies and highs resting comfortably in the upper 60s. But again claiming Tuesday, a chance of showers creeps back into the forecast, with temperatures peaking near 68 degrees. And similar to a theatrical encore, showers are likely both Tuesday night and into Wednesday, maintaining mostly cloudy conditions with consistent temperatures.
