The City of Doral recently commemorated the National Day of Prayer with a series of events that brought together art, faith, and community. The day kicked off with the National Day of Prayer Art Exhibit at the Doral Cultural Arts Center, featuring local artists' works centered on themes of peace, hope, and spiritual reflection, according to the city's official website. The exhibit was designed to offer a space for quiet contemplation and to foster connections among attendees.

The celebration transitioned into the evening with Doral's inaugural National Day of Prayer Concert at Doral Central Park. Father Antonio Tupiza of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church opened the program, with his choir performing "Magnificat," as reported by the City of Doral's news article. The event also included a symbolic presentation of colors by the Doral Police Department Honor Guard, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a rendition of the "Star-Spangled Banner" by Makeilah Montgomery that had the crowd standing in reflection.

In a statement obtained by the City of Doral, Mayor Christi Fraga welcomed the community, placing emphasis on the significance of coming together in faith and gratitude. Throughout the evening, spiritual leaders from various faiths in Doral shared their reflections on topics such as family, mental health in youth, business, leadership, and peace. Pastor Jonathan Agüero tackled youth and mental health, a talk that was accompanied by a high-energy praise song titled "Praise."

The concert drew to a close with a series of inspiring messages and performances, including Pastor Ricky Fernandez of Dios con Nosotros Church, who delivered a message of renewal significantly introduced by "Algo Nuevo Viene" performed by Arde Miami. In a final act of communal faith, Pastor Edwin Castro of Presencia Viva Church invited all participants to join their voices in "The Goodness of God."
