A grim discovery in western Arizona led to the swift arrest of a homicide suspect in Goodyear, as reported by the La Paz County Sheriff's Office. After responding to a welfare check last Thursday at a residence in Salome, deputies found a man and a woman deceased, each suffering from head trauma, as noted by FOX 10 Phoenix.
Details about what transpired at the Salome home remain scant, but per the sheriff's office declaration, "Deputies, and Investigators were able to identify a suspect and put out the suspect information to surrounding agencies." Shortly thereafter, the suspect was "located and apprehended in the Goodyear, Arizona area," according to the same statement obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix. The identities of both the apprehended suspect and the victims have been withheld pending further investigation.
Following the arrest, the suspect was booked into a La Paz County jail, laying the groundwork for the forthcoming legal proceedings. As the investigation continues, more information is expected to surface. The sheriff's office is yet to comment on the suspect's possible connection to the victims or provide any additional narrative to this developing story, as per a report by 12 News.
