Orley Espinosa of Revere has won a $2 million grand prize from the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” instant ticket game. According to Boston 25 News, Espinosa purchased the winning ticket at the 7-Eleven located at 14 Maverick Square in East Boston. He chose the cash option for his prize, receiving a one-time payment of $1.3 million before taxes.
Lottery officials reported that Espinosa plans to use the money to support his family. The 7-Eleven store that sold the winning ticket will receive a $20,000 bonus, as noted by Fall River Reporter.
