El Paso Independent School District is wrapping up the school year by spotlighting some of its most outstanding educators and support staff. The district has unveiled the finalists for the 2024-25 Teacher of the Year and Educational Support Personnel (ESP) of the Year awards, shining a light on those who have gone above and beyond in their contribution to El Paso's education system.
The recognition process started at the campus level, where the finalists' roles in advancing student learning and campus achievements were closely examined. "These finalists represent the heart and soul of our schools," Superintendent Diana Sayavedra described the individuals selected, as obtained by El Paso ISD. "Their dedication, creativity, and tireless work help create vibrant learning environments where students can thrive."
El Paso ISD has announced that the winners will be celebrated in a districtwide event on Thursday, May 22. The ceremony promises to not just award the winners, but also to appreciate the long-standing commitment of the finalists in shaping the district's educational landscape.
