
The El Paso Police Department is seeking assistance from the community after a man was pulled along the road during a violent carjacking incident, as reported by KVIA. The event occurred on April 29 at around 9 a.m. on the 8200 block of Echo in Northeast El Paso, where the owner was depositing groceries into his home when the suspect commandeered his vehicle.
A description of the suspect has been provided by KFOX, detailing a Hispanic male in his 40s, bald, possibly with a short beard and of medium to large build, who, after walking by the home made his way into the driver's seat of the truck and upon being confronted by the victim, put the truck in gear which led to the victim being dragged for several feet. The truck, a white 2005 GMC Yukon bearing Texas Disabled Veteran Plates bearing the identifier 1SFFT, is still missing.
Further details on the suspect's appearance were shared by KTSM, noting that he wore a black sweater and blue jeans during the carjacking.
