The city of Fayetteville recently saw a bustling confluence of local enterprise and entrepreneurial spirit, as the Fayetteville Economic Development Department joined forces with the UGA Small Business Development Center at Clayton State to host the first Business Resource Fair. This inaugural event, held on Thursday, was a platform for over 250 local businesses to connect with resources provided by various economic development organizations.
According to a statement on the City of Fayetteville's official website, the fair brought together a plethora of partners including the U.S. Small Business Administration, Georgia Center of Innovation and Department of Community Affairs, Veterans Business Outreach Center, the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership and Small Business and Supplier Diversity Program, the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, and Launch Fayette. This eclectic mix of organizations showcased the multifaceted support available to local businesses seeking to navigate the waters of entrepreneurship and growth.
Beyond the networking and learning opportunities, the event also featured a sponsored breakfast courtesy of Renasant Bank, which is known as an SBA lender.
