Gatlinburg will observe Memorial Day by closing City Hall and other government offices tomorrow, in honor of those who have died in military service. According to the City of Gatlinburg announcement released yesterday, City Hall and administrative offices of the Police and Fire Departments will be closed and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday. The Gatlinburg Community Center will also close for the holiday and reopen at 6 a.m. the following day.

Essential services will continue as scheduled. Residential and commercial trash collection will not be affected and will occur as normal on Memorial Day.

The Gatlinburg Trolley System will operate on its regular schedule from 8:30 a.m. to midnight. The Gatlinburg Golf Course will also remain open, with its first tee time at 7:30 a.m. The clubhouse will operate from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and all golf carts must be returned by 8 p.m.
