Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper has unveiled the winners of the 2025 Ag Week Photo Contest, a showcase of the quintessential charm and hard work embedded in Georgia's leading industry. With a submission pool of over 200 photos, capturing everything from the state's varied landscapes to its diligent farmers, the competition highlighted the significance of agriculture in Georgia. Harper was quoted in a press release saying, "We received hundreds of submissions for the 2025 Ag Week Photo Contest, and we are grateful to all the farm families and aspiring photographers who submitted photos from their operations or communities."

The contest celebrated its participants' contributions to Georgia's agrarian legacy. Harper added, "I’m proud to congratulate this years winners, and we’re excited to use their submissions to showcase the everyday beauty of Georgia’s #1 industry." The winning photographs spanned several categories, including 'Community Roots,' 'Faces of Agriculture,' 'Open Pastures and Growing Fields,' 'Tools of the Trade,' and 'Youth Photography.' Each category was designed to spotlight different facets of the agricultural life and community that thrives in Georgia, as detailed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture.

The top photographs will have the honor of featuring in the 2026 edition of Georgia Grown Magazine, anticipated later this year. Further extending the reach of these images, the Georgia Department of Agriculture's social media channels will also display the photos, ensuring that a wide audience can appreciate the picturesque and industrious nature of the state's number one industry.
