Beginning his career as a Counselor at Montgomery State Prison, Clark's dedication and adaptability saw him transition and ascend to various roles including Correctional Officer, Sergeant, and Chief Counselor, prior to his appointment as Deputy Warden of Care & Treatment and subsequently Superintendent at Smith Transitional Center. His latest appointment as Special Assistant to the Warden is a testament to his continued commitment and adaptability within the field of corrections.
Clark's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southern University, and further certifications in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration from Columbus State University, coupled with an extensive array of departmental training ranging from Basic Correctional Officer Training to Hostage Negotiator Training, his expertise is as broad as it is deep, the culmination of years of dedicated study and practical application within the corrections system.
