Teens in Las Cruces have an opportunity to add a bit of color and craft to their routine with a free boondoggle lanyards making session. Las Cruces Public Libraries is gearing up to host this hands-on event at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library come May 13, providing a space for youth to indulge in a bit of creative expression.
Set in the Craft Room of the library located at 200 E. Picacho Ave, the Teen Boondoggle Lanyards event is scheduled from 3:45-5:30 p.m., and is open to anyone aged 12 to 18. No registration is needed to join in the fun, young attendees can simply show up and start crafting their colorful lanyards, an activity that pairs well with chatter and snack munching. Given that the location is conveniently on Roadrunner Transit Route 1, getting to the event should be a breeze for most participants.
According to the City of Las Cruces, Taryne Heredia, a librarian at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, can provide further information to those interested. Heredia can be contacted at (575) 528-4003 or through email for any queries related to the boondoggle event.
