The accident occurred on Wednesday night around 7:36 p.m. at the intersection of I-35 and Farm-to-Market 3009. Schertz Police Department officials have since identified the victim as 43-year-old Nicholas Winfield Smith, a resident of Harker Heights, Texas, according to information released by KSAT.
First responders at the scene discovered Smith lying on the ground, neither moving nor breathing, indicating the direness of the incident. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the site, and the cause and manner of his death are still to be determined. The Schertz police force's traffic unit is in charge of piecing together the circumstances that led to this fatal occurrence, as reported by MSN Autos.
