An incident of road rage in Horizon City, Texas, escalated to the point of a man facing serious charges. According to a social media post by the Horizon City Police Department, Marco Antonio Basurto-Casas has been arrested on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The arrest followed a reported incident on April 17 near the crossroads of Vallecito Place and Desierto Lindo Avenue. Basurto-Casas is accused of having dangerously approached another vehicle, brandishing a firearm, and making threatening statements to those inside. The Horizon City Police, with detectives’ assistance, were to quickly identify Basurto-Casas as the perpetrator.
In the continued effort to secure local safety, Basurto-Casas was taken into custody without further incident on Friday, April 25. A subsequent search of his residence led to the recovery of two firearms, according to the Horizon City Police Department.
