A recent confrontation in Horizon City has resulted in an arrest, the Horizon City Police Department reported via a social media post yesterday. The incident, which took place last Friday, led to 40-year-old Luiz Zeijas being apprehended and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
Police were dispatched to the 13600 block of Eastlake in Horizon City on the day in question, where a physical altercation was reported, as officers arrived they spotted a black pickup truck making a speedy exit from the area, a subsequent traffic stop near Ashford and Horizon Blvd allowed them to identify Zeijas as having been involved in the scuffle. After an investigation, Zeijas was taken into custody, and his bond was set at $2,500, according to the Horizon City Police Department.
