
A man was found dead with gunshot wounds early Wednesday morning near Belmont University, as a car crash led to a homicide investigation, law enforcement officials from the Metro Nashville Police Department reported that a distressing discovery was made when a vehicle was found having crashed into a tree near the intersection of 16th Avenue South and Wedgewood Avenue the car's driver, dead from apparent gunshot injuries, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to information shared by WSMV.
