The School’s (Almost) Out Skatepark Day, set for May 17 from noon to 3 p.m., is calling on families to dust off their skateboards, scooters, and BMX bikes and converge on the popular park for a free event that promises to offer more than just wheels hitting concrete.
Support for the event comes from a bevy of local sponsors, including 21:12 Skateboarding and Lincoln Elementary School. Activities stretching beyond the skatepark will include raffles, giveaways, and kid-friendly booths, one of which lets you paint your own mini-board.
