The repercussions of the water main break were wide-ranging, necessitating early dismissals at several schools in the Kirkwood School District. According to KSDK, affected schools included Kirkwood High School, Nipher Middle School, North Kirkwood Middle School, Keysor Elementary, Tillman Elementary, and Robinson Elementary, among others. As fixes are underway, residents were urged to abide by the advisory, which spelled out clear instructions for boiling water before any form of use.
