A Knoxville man has been arrested in connection with multiple incidents involving gunfire directed at parked vehicles. Hayden Currie, 29, was taken into custody after an investigation by the Knoxville Police Department identified his dark-colored Toyota Tacoma as the suspect vehicle.
According to the Knoxville Police Department website, the incidents occurred on April 14, April 22, and on Monday along Paris Road. No injuries were reported. The shootings happened during overnight hours and involved damage to unoccupied vehicles.
Currie faces multiple charges, including five counts of aggravated assault, three counts of reckless endangerment, and three counts of felony vandalism.
Police located and stopped the suspected vehicle last night. Currie was detained, and a firearm was found in his truck. Authorities are investigating the connection between the weapon and the reported shootings.
